Siemens Scholarship Program for First Year Students

Siemens  Ltd is planning to start Scholarship Program for Engineering students. (For first Year students only) .The objective is to support and promote engineering education amongst meritorious students from less privileged families. 

Under this initiative, Siemens would offer a limited number of Scholarships by providing financial support and personality development plan for students with annual family income not more than Rs. 2 lakhs. 

 They would also like to implement this program through their partner Smile Foundation. 

 Eligibility for Siemens Scholarship 

• First year students of Government Engineering colleges from the following streams: – Mechanical – Electrical – Electronics/Instrumentation – Electronics & Telecommunication – Computers/Information Technology 

• Age: Up to 20 years 

• Annual family Income: Not more than Rs. 2 lakhs

 • SSC: Minimum 60% aggregate 

• HSC or equivalent result: Minimum 50% aggregate and minimum 60% PCM aggregate

Eligible first year students shall meet respective departmental TPO faculty coordinator for registration once the first year have started coming in full strength.

All the earlier shortlisted students from Electrical and Mechanical 2016 passed out batch are hereby informed to remain present sharp at 8.00 a.m on 22/07/16 at Admin Building, GEC,  Bharuch for final round of interview for company Saint Gobain Ltd.

Schedule/Procedure for final interview

Selection procedure will start initially with PPT Orientation at 8.20 a.m followed by Group discussion for screening the candidates. No one will be allowed in seminar room after 8.30 a.m.

Shortlisted students from G.D will be interviewed for final selection.


So be sharp with timings and prepare well for G.D and P.I. All the best.
