According to a study by UNICEF, over 90 percent of jobs worldwide have a digital component, yet gender inequality in the physical world is replicated in the digital world.
This digital gender divide puts a major strain on educational efficiency and affects access to employment opportunities, contributing to a widening gender pay gap. A wider participation of women is imperative for the development and advancement of the nation. And corporate India has a crucial role to play in achieving this.
TCS’ Digital Empowers, along with TCS’ flagship Youth Employment Program (YEP) will host a panel discussion on what it takes to bridge this digital gender divide in India and offer women access to new opportunities and transformation.
